ABOUT

Description

This tragic-comedy about friendship, sporting culture and small town rivalries will blur the line between actor and audience throughout its Bleach* Festival 2017 seasons.

Back on the Gold Coast by popular demand, The Forwards will be presented across two unique and intimate city locations.
The Forwards follows the story of a small town called Pintoon, where nothing ever happens… except the footy!

Each cast member plays the show’s live soundtrack as well as several characters from the town including the three star “forwards”, Hoges, Tractor and Gary Rabbit.

The town is buzzing as the ‘Pintoon Parrots’ finally make it to the Grand Final, but tensions boil over in the build up to the big game, leading to some devastating repercussions.

Suitable for audiences 15+. Contains drug references.

Creative partner of Bleach* Festival since 2011
